Oppportunities
LEADERites
Thank you for your interest in the LEADER Project. LEADER is the most unique and exciting extracurricular program available at Ivey.
Students who are selected to participate in LEADER benefit from unparalleled global insight into private sector driven development, unique cultural experiences, and create an impact in both emerging economies and the Ivey community. Each year, LEADER sends a team of Ivey students to a number of sites, where they teach foundational business administration and entrepreneurial skills through the case method and 1-on-1 coaching. LEADERite Instructors from the MBA, HBA, MSc and PhD programs undergo training to then take part in a mutually beneficial experience that allows them to build a unique skill set.
Being involved in LEADER will give you exposure to Ivey faculty, the Dean, prominent Ivey alumni, and an opportunity to work with Ivey students from other programs. With over three decades since inception, LEADER has over 900 alumni across Canada and the world. LEADERites are fully responsible to manage a $50,000+ annual operating budget and successfully execute on all the aspects of the organization from strategy, marketing, finance, logistics, and operations. Conquering these unique challenges is invaluable and proves useful in the careers of LEADERites.
