Opportunities
Alumni Volunteers
The LEADER Alumni Volunteer Program is a one-of-a-kind experience available to LEADER, Ivey and Western University alumni.
Alumni Volunteers (AVs) will travel abroad with a team of current Ivey students for the duration of the two-week program. AVs will have the opportunity to coach local entrepreneurs in emerging markets, lead case discussions and lectures, as well as explore the local culture alongside their LEADER site team.

Managed by Ivey Advancement and held at the University of Western Ontario, its strategic use is guided by the LEADER Advisory Board.
“LEADER was the best part of the Ivey experience. It makes you think in every business situation about whether you truly understand where the other person is coming from… It feels just as amazing and powerful to be an Alumni Volunteer LEADERite 10 years later, but you bring something completely different to the table.”
— Jon Shell, MBA 2003
Former Advisory Board Chair, and Managing Director at Social Capital Partners
